A Puberty Education Night Your School Can Trust

Confident kids start with confident conversations—empower your school community with expert-led puberty education that is age-appropriate and values-based.

Puberty brings many physical and emotional changes, and most parents want to support and guide their children through this important stage.

However, many parents feel unsure about how or when to start these conversations. At the same time, children are often exposed to large amounts of information from the internet and peers, and not all of it is accurate, respectful, or age-appropriate.

Schools want to support families in this area, but it can be challenging to address such topics in a way that is sensitive, age-appropriate, and aligned with the values of the school community.

A CHOICEZ MEDIA Parent–Child Puberty Information Evening helps your school support families with confidence, providing clear, respectful and accurate information for both parents and children.

    WHAT TEACHERS ARE SAYING

“Our school has decided to rebook Choicez Media for our Puberty Information Evening after overwhelmingly positive feedback from parents, children and teachers. The Family Educators are always reputable, friendly and informative.

We were confident in presenting this presentation to our community, knowing that it is endorsed by the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference an in line with our Gospel values.

The Puberty Information Evening via Zoom was advantageous as it allowed children and their parents an opportunity to navigate this topic with sensitivity and respect, from the privacy of their own homes."

    Elizabeth Sergent
    St Paul The Apostle Parramatta

''Choicez delivered a very detailed outline of the changes of young children face during puberty in a manner that supported the teachings of our Catholic school. The course was delivered via zoom and parents were able to support their children through the presentation from their own homes. The presentation was well prepared and even though the content can be tricky at times, the manner which it was delivered was family friendly, appropriate to the age of the students and was very well received by our community. We will definitely be looking to rebook."

    Ange Cook
Mater Dei Primary School - Wagga Wagga

"Karen from Choicez Media is extremely knowledgeable not just about the content itself, but also how this applies to the particular stage and diocese that the class is situated within.

She is enthusiastic about tackling the tricky conversations and puts students, parents and teachers at ease.

I would highly recommend Choicez Media to any school looking for support and resources to engage their families in the essential topics relating to personal development and puberty."

    Kerry Paxton
    Sacred Heart Primary School

"Last year, Choicez Media, creators of the 'Things Are Changing' resource, provided Primary schools with a parent portal resource page for teaching the growth and development, puberty and human sexuality PDHPE units in Stage 3. This was a very valuable resource.

It allowed us to run a digital parent/child information evening on this topic before commencing with this unit of work and have access to videos and workbooks to teach this unit. Access to online resources that would support students and parents in accessing suitable and age appropriate content in a Christian worldview is crucially important."

    Linda Ducksbury
    St Anthony's Primary School

There is no area more precious and sensitive than helping young people navigate this special time of life.
Over the last decade Things Are Changing has helped tens of thousands of primary age students, teachers and their parents explore this crucial time of transition and growth.
So why is Things Are Changing the choice of so many Christian and Catholic schools?
Put simply it's because it is based in a deep and rich understanding of key Christian concepts such as the value and dignity of the human person as made in the image of God, an understanding of sex education being about an 'education in and for love' and a deep respect for the role of parents as primary educators of their own children.

    WHAT PARENTS ARE SAYING

“I cannot recommend the “Things are Changing” puberty resource enough. I have used this for each one of my daughters and it helped make the conversation fun and a normal part of life. The support material was especially helpful. "

    Saley Osbourne

    Mother

"The virtual zoom puberty night was fantastic. I loved the format. It allowed us to have the private conversations with our son in our own home. This was so much better than the puberty night we attended in a school hall for our daughter. Thank you to the Choicez Team who did an outstanding job."

    Mario
    Father

"I am so grateful for the resource "Things Are Changing". I struggled for so long to find something that was age appropriate, modern and was supportive of our faith values. This resource upholds the dignity and sacredness of sex and fertility as a gift and places the changes within a Godly context of human development and growth."
